Fellows  introduction into this market sector began when they were awarded manufacturer of stainless steel Pay Phone Front Covers, the phone systems which are as still seen in public phones today.

Due to the success and innovation of this product, Fellows were awarded further business for the manufacture of the rear case Mechanisms followed by the manufacture and supply of the Cash Tins and Cash Boxes.

With technology and security improvements Fellows played a key part ultimately becoming the primary metal work supplier into the UKs largest public telecommunications equipment provider.

BT were supplying globally with systems, from which  Fellows formed part of a larger global telecommunications supply base, with continuous process improvements the Cash Tins and Compartment Cases now being shipped as a fully finished product ready for site installation, worldwide.

Fellows continued to win further business for Landis and Gyr (Berlin) making them a key supplier into one of Europe's largest telecommunications providers.

The first Marconi designed and developed Satellite Dishes were manufactured and assembled in Fellows in both pre coated and powder coated perforated steel in sizes ranging from 45cm to 60cm production targets due to public demand peaked at over 2000 units per day.

The initial dishes being associated to Astra for BSB and Sky.
